Institute is a state government organization and it is adequately staffed for the sanctioned trades. Institute has good linkages with local industries in "Institute Management Committee". Co-operation in maintenance, Trainee and Craft Instructor Industrial Visit, Trade Syllabus Advisory Committee and Campus Interview.

To Become hub for vocational Training and center of excellence and its aim to produce appropriately qualified and career prospects which meet the needs of economy. It will enable development, maintenance and delivering training that develops both specialist and related general skills, we will plan to produce globally competitive work force and to help unemployed youth by equipping them by such training so as to gain employment / self employment in and around surat.

The Institute plan to convert all the individual courses in multi modular courses in future like centre of excellence. So we can provide suitable candidate as per the requirement of the industry.
